Description

Comforting and warming, our golden milk recipe is a delicious warm drink packed with flavor and sweetened to taste. It only takes five minutes have a warm cup of golden in your hands. Enjoy! 


Ingredients

Golden Milk

  • 2 cups of unsweetened plant-based milk of your choice (soy, cashew, almond, oat, coconut, etc)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger powder
  • 1/8 tsp finely ground Black Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp ground Cloves
  • 1/8 tsp ground Cardamom
  • Sweetener of choice, to taste. You can use maple syrup, agave, honey, date sugar, coconut sugar, or regular sugar.

Golden Milk Spice mix

  • 1/3 cup Turmeric powder
  • 1/3 cup ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Ginger powder
  • 2 tsp finely ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp ground Cloves
  • 2 tsp ground Cardamom

Instructions

Golden Milk 

  1. Whisk all the spices into the plant-based milk. 
  2. Heat on low heat in a saucepan for 5 minutes.
  3. Sweeten to taste
  4. Drink warm or hot.

Golden Milk Spice Mix

  1. Mix all the spices and place them in a jar.
  2. Whisk 1 1/2 tsp of powder per cup of plant-based milk.
  3. Heat on low heat in a saucepan for 5 minutes.
  4. Sweeten to taste
  5. Drink warm or hot.

Notes

  1. Store golden milk mix in a glass jar fitted with a tight lid.
  2. Use fresh and fragrant spices
  3. Calories and nutritional information will depend in what kind of plant-based milk you choose and how much sweetener you add to the golden milk.  Calories are for unsweetened almond milk and no sweetener
