Description
If you've never made baked brie before today, you are in for a real treat. Our addition of cranberries and pecans makes this a wonderful entertaining appetizer that's perfect for any time of year.
The tart fruit and the crunch of the nuts contrast perfectly with the rich, earthy flavor of a buttery warm brie.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1- 7 ounce wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 1/2 tbsps raspberry preserves
- 1/4 cup chopped raw pecans
- 2 tbsp raw pistachios, chopped
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper
- Remove the brie cheese from the packaging (don't remove the rind, it's edible) and place it on the lined baking sheet
- Spread the preserves on top of the brie. Add the pecans, pistachios, and cranberries and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until it feels soft to the touch ( don't press too hard)
Notes
- You can also use fig jam or honey
- If you prefer you can also microwave the brie for 2 -3 minutes
- Serve with crackers, crusty bread and grapes, and apples
- Add it to your holiday cheeseboard
- Serve immediately while still warm
- You may drizzle some balsamic glaze before serving to add that contrast of sweet, savory and tangy.
