Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, softened
  • 1/3 cup Chosen Foods Avocado Mayo
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside
  3. In a large bowl, beat together coconut oil, avocado mayo, sugar and maple syrup at medium speed, 2-3 minutes until creamy
  4. Reduce speed and slowly add flour mixture and continue beating until well incorporated. Fold in mini chocolate chips and refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 375F
  5. Working with 1 1/2 tablespoon at a time ( we like to use a small ice cream scoop), scoop 12 cookies onto the lined baking sheet. Lightly flatten them using the palm of your hand
  6. Bake for 10 minutes and let them cool completely before serving
