Spicy, almost guilt free, Buffalo cauliflower “wings” with a creamy blue cheese sauce, great appetizer for the “Big Game”


  • 1 medium to large cauliflower head, cut into small florets ( about 78 cups)
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2 tsp corn starch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup store bought buffalo wing sauce
  • For the Blue Marble Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp four
  • 3.5 oz ounces Sincerely Brigitte Blue Marble Cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a large bowl whisk together flour, corn starch and water until smooth (make sure there aren’t any lumps). Add cauliflower florets and toss until well coated
  3. Transfer cauliflower to the line baking sheet, coat generously with cooking spray and bake for 25 minutes
  4. Heat buffalo sauce in a small sauce pan and keep it warm
  5. When the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and pour buffalo sauce over it. Toss until well coated. Bring the temperature of the oven up to 450F
  6. Return the cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake at 450F for 7 minutes
  7. While cauliflower is baking, prepare the cheese sauce.
  8. In a small sauce pan melt butter over low heat. Add flour, whisking well until it starts to brown slightly (it should start to look golden brown) . Slowly add milk, whisking constantly. Add cheese and continue cooking until sauce has thickened and cheese is melted. Serve warm.
