These Coconut Water And Fruit Ice Cubes are a cool way to jazz up your drink and stay hydrated during the hot summer months!
Hydrating is VERY important, we all know that. Especially in the blistering summer months. On the east coast we’ve been hit with some sweltering temperatures, and we are barely at the end of June!
The complaint I get most often when reminding my family to drink water is that they don’t want to drink “plain old” water. What can I say? We’ve been spoiled by the fruit juices, smoothies, and other blends we’ve indulged in cooler parts of the year.
An alternative, if your kiddos have been whining about how “plain” your water is lately, or you are getting sick of downing ounce after ounce of the clear stuff, try coconut water! It's slightly sweet and nutty, super refreshing and nutrient and electrolyte packed.
And to infuse the natural goodness of coconut to your regular water or any other drink and make it more appealing, how about some coconut water and fruit ice cubes? They're incredibly simple to make, and will add a splash of fruit and flavor to make your beverage a bit more perky as it helps you beat the heat.
With 4th of July right around the corner, try blueberries, raspberries and strawberries for a fun red, white and blue pattern, without adding any sugar or artificial colors!
Enjoy 🙂
